Mata Hinglaj’s relation with Nath sect
The Nath sect considers Mata Hinglaj as its Kuldevi. According to mythology, when Lord Shiva, saddened by the separation of Sati, started roaming in the three worlds carrying the dead body of Sati, Vishnu cut Sati’s body into 51 pieces with his Sudarshan Chakra. The places where the parts of Sati fell, those places were called Shaktipeeths.

The temple of Kuldevi Mata Hinglaj of the Nath sect is located on the banks of the Hingol river in Hinglaj, Balochistan province of Pakistan, which is a Hindu temple. How to reach Hinglaj Temple
Devotees are not allowed to go alone to visit the mother in Hinglaj temple. A group of 30-40 devotees is formed to go to the temple. Devotees have to walk 6-7 miles from Karachi to cross the Haw river to have darshan of Mata. Then crossing the mountains, the devotees reach the temple.
Along with this, there are thousand feet high mountains, vast deserted deserts, dense forests, jungle animals, 300 feet mud volcano along with natural problems, bandits and terrorists on the way to the temple. Devotees have to travel 55 km on foot to reach the temple, which is completed in 4 stages.
There are also 3 water wells on the way. By drinking the water of this well, the devotees become pure and have darshan of the mother. It is believed that all wishes are fulfilled by visiting this temple of Hinglaj Mata. Spiritual saints like Guru Gorakhnath, Guru Nanak Dev and Dada Makhan have also come here for fulfillment of desires.
